The Cannabis Delivery Driver safely transports cannabis products from the dispensary to customers while ensuring full compliance with New Jersey cannabis delivery regulations. This role requires excellent customer service, strict adherence to security protocols, and accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Operations
- Safely transport cannabis products to customers
- Follow all NJ CRC delivery regulations and company policies
- Verify customer identification and age upon delivery
- Ensure secure handling of cannabis products during transport
Customer Service
- Provide professional and courteous interactions with customers
- Confirm order details and ensure accurate delivery
- Handle payment transactions when required
- Represent the brand in a positive and professional manner
Compliance & Security
- Maintain delivery logs and transaction records
- Follow security protocols for transporting cannabis
- Adhere to purchase limits and customer verification requirements
- Immediately report any delivery issues or safety concerns
Vehicle & Safety
- Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Conduct vehicle inspections as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Comfortable handling cash and electronic payments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior delivery or logistics experience
- Cannabis industry experience
- Familiarity with delivery software or mobile POS systems
