Shopping and ID
Do I need a medical card to shop at Marvin's Garden?
No. Marvin's Garden is an adult-use (recreational) dispensary, so any adult 21 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID can shop. No medical card is required.
What ID do I need, and how old do I have to be?
You must be 21 or older and show a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, state ID card, or passport. Staff check ID to confirm age before every sale, as New Jersey law requires.
Do I have to be a New Jersey resident?
No. Adults 21 and older from any state can purchase adult-use cannabis in New Jersey with a valid government-issued photo ID.
How much cannabis can I buy at one time?
New Jersey limits a single transaction to one ounce (28.35 grams) of usable cannabis or its equivalent. That equivalent is up to 4 grams of solid concentrate or 4 mL of oil, or edibles totaling no more than 1,000 mg of THC. These limits are set by the NJ CRC under N.J.A.C. 17:30 and can change, so check the CRC website for current rules.
First-visit guideDo you keep my personal information?
We check your ID to confirm your age and identity. Under New Jersey rules, dispensaries may not keep a copy of your photo ID or collect personal information beyond what is typical for a retail sale. If you join our VIP Club, we store only the contact details you choose to give us.

What products do you carry?
Marvin's Garden carries flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, topicals, accessories and Marvin's Garden merchandise. Every cannabis product we sell is tested, packaged and labeled under New Jersey CRC rules.
How does ordering work? Are there kiosks?
There are no self-service kiosks. A real budtender takes every order at Marvin's Garden. Ask as many questions as you like, whether it's your first visit or your five-hundredth, and we'll help you find what you're looking for.
I've never been to a dispensary. What happens on my first visit?
You'll show your ID at check-in, then a budtender will walk you through the menu, explain product types and labels, and answer your questions. There's no pressure and no wrong question.

Safety and the law
Where can I use cannabis in New Jersey?
New Jersey law does not allow smoking, vaping or aerosolizing cannabis anywhere that tobacco smoking is prohibited. Private residences are generally where adults consume, subject to property rules. Check the NJ CRC website and local ordinances for current rules.
Can I drive after using cannabis?
No. Do not drive a motor vehicle or operate heavy machinery while using cannabis products. Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal in New Jersey.
How should I store cannabis at home?
Keep cannabis products in their original child-resistant packaging, stored out of the reach of children and pets.
